What differentiates your camp staff from other summer camps?
PSC camps are run by qualified and successful NCAA college coaches. Each coach is supported by a staff of college/high school coaches, former professional players and collegiate athletes. PSC Multi Sport Athletics Camp is run by certified physical education teachers and coaches with a supporting staff of collegiate athletes as well. Our five week summer camp is registered with the Westchester County Board of Health to ensure each campers safety and a certified RTE is on-site at all times.
What facilities does your camp use?
Player Skills Center Summer Camps are held on the same award winning playing fields used by the Pace University athletes and teams. An indoor, heated, Olympic-sized swimming pool (50 meters, eight lanes), gymnasiums, 3 varsity playing fields, University-level dining facilities, and a camp infirmary with RTE on duty.
What type of programs does your camp have?
Campers can choose from a variety of recreational sports throughout the week. They have the choice to improve their skills in our soccer specialty. Campers can choose to spend a full day or half day in our specialty programs. Our Multi Sport and Mighty Mite camps are perfect for those campers who want a variety of programs. Campers can choose between a half day Specialty Camp and half day Multi Sport camp each week. We value the importance of variety to keep the camp fun for all campers.
Does each camper need to be a competitive athlete to attend PSC Youth Summer Camps?
No, PSC welcomes campers of all skill and ability levels. Our qualified staff focuses on improving each individual's skills at their own pace while keeping all activities exciting and fun. Each camper attending Multi Sport or Mighty Mites will be assessed during the week and evaluated on their skills in each sport. Campers will be grouped according to their skill, size, age, position and experience.
Do you provide lunch?
Campers have the option of bringing their own lunch or they may purchase lunch for an additional $55 per week from Chartwell's Culinary Services. Chartwell's Culinary Services is the food service provider at Pace University. Regardless of what lunch option you choose, all campers will eat lunch in the Pace University dining facilities. Please note for our spring break camp, campers must bring their own lunch.
Do you offer extended day hours for youth camps?
Yes. We offer extended care starting at 7:30am each morning and until 5:30pm each day. Cost is $10 an hour per child.
What is the camp refund policy?
If you need to cancel your campers' registration for any reason prior to June 1, 2018, a cash refund of 75% will be given for cancellations submitted in writing before June 1, 2018 OR we will issue you a camp credit for all fees paid, valid through 2019. All cancellations after June 1st and through July 1st, 2018 are only eligible for a camp credit for a 2018 PSC camp session. Refund requests submitted in writing following July 1st, 2018 for a 2018 PSC Summer Camps will only be considered if accompanied by a physician's note indicating that your player is unable to participate for medical reasons - this refund will only be provided in the form of a camp credit for a 2019 PSC Summer Camp.
All requests for a refund/credit of any kind must be submitted in writing (Players Skill Center, PO Box 185, Pleasantville NY 10570 or fax (ATTN: PSC 914-879-8751 and will not be accepted over the telephone. All camp credits are only transferable to a family member.
Do you provide transportation?
Unfortunately PSC does not provide transportation to and from camp.
How do I know my registration was received?
You will receive confirmation on our website and via email.
How do I register online?
Follow the link provided on our site for the camp that you wish to register for. Our online registration is outsourced to a third party that accepts credit cards.
What should we bring to camp?
Each camper should wear comfortable athletic shoes, shorts, and a T-shirt. Bathing suit and towel will be needed for swim for full day campers. Each specialty camp will send out a confirmation with additional details.
