Welcome To Softball Camp
Session III July 16-20
Whether your child is an All Star or just starting, this camp is designed to reinforce the fundamental skills young softball players need to develop. Campers learn the important skills of hitting, pitching, throwing, fielding, base-running, and team defense from outstanding instructors. Each morning schedule combines both group and individual instruction. Each day, players are learning, playing, practicing, and having fun. Campers will be competing against players of their own ability.
What to Bring
Each camper should wear daily: softball shoes or comfortable athletic shoes, sweat socks, softball pants (optional) or shorts, and a cotton T-shirt. Players must bring their own glove and if you have a bat and helmet please bring those as well. Bathing suit and towel will be needed for swim. PSC is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Daily Schedule (full and half day):
- Daily Meeting/Announcements
- Active warm up/stretch
- Defensive Group Instruction (fielding, throwing, positional play)
- Hitting Group Instruction
- Controlled Instructional games
- Position specific defensive work
- Instruction and games
- Recreational Swim
Program Director: Now- Allah James & Trish Allutto
Now-Allah James and Trish Allutto will be co-directing the PSC Softball Specialty Camp this summer. Coach James is entering his fifth season in the Pace Setters' dugout as the Assistant Coach. James also is the head coach of the U14 Hudson Valley Express Travel Softball Team. Coach Allutto, a former standout for the Setters softball program is entering her third year as the Assistant Coach of the U14 Hudson Valley Express. Allutto also serves as a private softball skills instructor for players in Westchester and Dutchess Counties.
