What differentiates your camp staff from other summer camps?
PSC specialty camps are run by qualified and successful NCAA college coaches. Each coach is supported by a staff of college/high school coaches, former professional players and collegiate athletes. PSC Multi Sport Athletics Camp is run by certified physical education teachers and coaches with a supporting staff of collegiate athletes as well.
What facilities does your camp use?
Player Skills Center Summer Camps are held on the same award winning playing fields used by the Pace University athletes and teams. An indoor, heated, Olympic-sized swimming pool (50 meters, eight lanes), two gymnasiums, 5 varsity playing fields, 4 tournament-quality tennis courts, University-level dining facilities, camp infirmary with registered nurses on duty.
What type of programs does your camp have?
Campers can choose from a variety of specialties and recreational sports throughout the week. They have the choice to improve their skills in a specialty area such as baseball during the morning and enjoy joining athletic development with friends playing such sports as basketball and flag football during the afternoon. We value the importance of variety to keep the camp fun for all campers.
Does each camper need to be a competitive athlete to attend PSC?
No, PSC welcomes campers of all skill and ability levels. Our qualified staff focuses on improving each individual's skills at their own pace while keeping all activities exciting and fun. Each camper attending athletic development will be assessed during the week and evaluated on their skills in each sport.
Do you provide lunch?
Campers have the option of bringing their own lunch or they may purchase lunch for an additional $50 per week from Lackmann Culinary Services. Lackmann Culinary Services is the food service provider at Pace University. Regardless of what lunch option who choose, all campers will eat lunch in the Pace University dining facilities.
